Dream on 7/23//10

I was leading a group of kids across this mountain. We got to a swimming pool that had a helmet in it (looked like the Daft-Punk one) so I dove it to get it, but as I held it up it turned into ash. The focus went away to this little animal that was exploring the woods. He came across a metal container of some sort and opened it to see what was inside. Inside was a Cantaloupe with a triangular mouth and three huge triangular teeth that came off the bottom jaw. In a cage behind him in the corner was a watermelon with the same sort of mouth. They both had eyes and little tiny hands and feet, but they were really kind of scary. I think the cantaloupe at the creature that found him and released the other guy, but by then we were swimming across the shallows of the river. The cantaloupe was close on our heels though so we ran back to EHS where we started to put on a play with some real animals. We had a bear, a lion, two white wolves, and some other animals. The parents were waiting for the play, so while everyone got ready, I got the wolves out of a wheelbarrow, where one had been kind of smushed so It ran out, skittered on the street, made it to the grass and then fell down with a whimper. I climbed a tree to start painting the lion black, then climbed down to a lower branch to see if I could reach the bear on the ground, but he didn't like being painted so much, so he just got a few stripes. A girl was supposed to be painting the children's eyes black, but she was no good at it so I stepped in. I took them to a mirror and found she had just done a big outline, some swirlies, and written a name around one boys eye (I really want to remember what that name was. It was an author I think). I started getting to work on the eye, but woke up before I could finish.
