Dream on 10/29/10

There was this big party at a cabin in the mountains with a ton of people from my class at EHS. The place was way up at the top of this hill, with a cobblestone road leading down to a small town below. Everyone was dressed in a contemporary manner, but the whole dream definitely took place during medieval times. There was a magic pool at the bottom of the house, it looked like one of the Great Fairy pools from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Everyone from the party disappeared though all of a sudden, and I was in the cabin with one or two other people that I don't really remember. One I think was an old man that was teaching me how to use my sword for a brief period of time. My sword was the same wooden one from my house in Canada, the only difference was that it had three sections on the blade, right above the hilt. The three slots were for elemental abilities like from the game "protector IV". I had a poison element for the top section and for the bottom section, but the middle section was sort of a strange element. It was a special one that was called Akroma's Sun Sabre. The sections were just a little sliver on the back of the blade, and the special Akroma one looked like it had been hit with a hammer or something repeatedly because it had little circular dents all over it. I thought it was damaged so I tried to peel it off, and it splintered off somewhat in my hand, but then the old man told me what it was so I stopped. I went outside, mounted my horse, and fought off some of the enemies that were right outside the cabin. I then rode down the hill at full speed, swinging my sword at anything that was in my way. The enemies in front of me were skeletal, wrapped in black armor and tatters of skin, but golden light revealed the outlines of their former glory. I hacked my way through them as I shot down the mountain, but I did so quickly, and was soon galloping through the blockades set up by the villagers at the end of the hill. I wasn't attacking them, but I was going too fast on my horse, and I couldn't stop it. This last part was a direct result of my long-boarding down the main drive at EHS. I remember the feeling of mostly being in control of what was carrying me down the hill, but not in control enough to be able to stop myself when I wanted to. It wasn't scary, just extremely awesome. I loved crashing through the enemies on the way down the hill, it was totally badass.
